Beginners Watercolor Workshop

LEVEL: All skill levels from beginners to advanced
This workshop fee includes all the supplies you need to learn about watercolor and create some paintings!
Day 1: Getting ready to paint, mixing colors with a limited palette, changing shapes into forms, value scales. Students will do studies of different color theory; monochromatic, complimentary, analogous, hot and cold color schemes.
Day 2: We’ll explore different watercolor techniques. Then we’ll try out what we’ve learned on several landscape paintings of local scenes, utilizing our new knowledge to capture landscapes in watercolor with a limited palette.
