What is your name? Ashley Williams
What Golden Isle do you call home and how long have you lived there? Brunswick, GA, a year and a half (moved here June of ’21)
What do you love about living here?The beaches, the beach feeling, all the greenery, the local shops, and driving over the causeways to my bakery! Especially at sunset ❤️
How many children do you have and what are their names and ages? Emma -13, Ethan -11, Eli -6, Ezra -10 months
What’s one of your favorite mom resources (websites, groups, stores, etc.) in the area? The Golden Isles Mom’s Club for sure! I’m always checking there for the weekend to-do’s 😉
What do you do for work and what’s the best part of your job?I own Smallcakes on St. Simons Island!
What’s one thing people might be surprised to know about you? I also homeschool my children and have for 7 years now! Before owning a bakery, I was a child educator and then director of a childcare center in TX.
What’s one way you relax when you need to “unwind”? I truly like to take my family and we sit on the beach, play in the sand, walk, and bring a picnic! The sound of waves is very relaxing for me ❤️
What’s your best “mom hack?”Definitely set the bar low each day, and just do your best! Don’t expect too much and as long as you’ve educated and fed your children- you are WINNING!
