What Golden Isle do you call home and how long have you lived there? Saint Simons Island, 10 years
What do you love about living here?I love the sense of a true community, you always run into someone you know! It’s so amazing how our little community will rally together to help those who need it without giving it a second thought. Of course the weather is always nice, and we love how many resident owned family businesses there are here.
How many children do you have and what are their names and ages? 6 -Chelsea is 26, Joshua is 25, TJ is 24, Tava is 22, Landon is 19 and Maddox is 11.
What’s one of your favorite mom resources (websites, groups, stores, etc.) in the area?I am a huge fan of Bailey Boys!
What do you do for work and what’s the best part of your job? I am the owner of Saint Simons Day School. The favorite part of my job is getting to play with all the children each day. Seeing all those smiles will brighten your day and of course the hugs are the best!!!
What’s one thing people might be surprised to know about you? That I am a Grandmother of 2 amazing little boys!
What’s one way you relax when you need to “unwind”? I love to go visit Jorge at Tortuga Jacks and get one of his incredible Pina Coladas then take a long walk on the beach.
What’s your best “mom hack?” Always keep a bag of snacks, extra clothes, towel, swimsuits and other emergency items in your car. Then you’r always prepared for anything that pops up.
