What Golden Isle do you call home and how long have you lived there? SSI, 3 years
What do you love about living here? The people, the medical community, my kids school, the tranquility of the island
How many children do you have and what are their names and ages? 17 y girl, 18 y boy
What’s one of your favorite mom resources (websites, groups, stores, etc.) in the area? Still learning!
What do you do for work and what’s the best part of your job? Prosthetist/orthotist. Best part is changing someone’s life for the better and having my children grow up witnessing the importance of empathy and impact if such during tragic circumstances.
What’s one thing people might be surprised to know about you? I helped break barriers by mentoring and speaking on our corporate platform to encourage more women into my field as there were virtually no females working as clinicians when I first started in 1996
What’s one way you relax when you need to “unwind”? Dinner and laughter with other moms.
